Our Approach
Strengthening Vanilla Farmer Capacity
We organize and support vanilla farmer cooperatives, with a strong focus on women’s leadership, so that farmers can participate not only in cultivation but also in processing, sales, and decision‑making. Through training on sustainable vanilla farming, improved planting materials, organic fertilizer production, and hygiene‑focused processing practices, we build farmers’ skills and create a reliable capacity for high‑quality production. Our goals are to establish women‑led cooperatives, employ women in vanilla processing, and run regular capacity‑building workshops on cultivation, fertilizer making, and hygiene standards.
Processing & Quality Upgrading
We establish shared village‑level fermentation and drying hubs that lift Indonesian vanilla to international quality standards. Through scientific grading and product diversification – including vanilla powder, extract, and oil – farmers capture more value from their harvests, with women playing leading roles in daily operations. These hubs complete standardized drying, grading, and packaging processes so communities can reliably supply high‑quality vanilla to premium markets.
Fair & Reliable Market Access
We build direct‑trade relationships that guarantee fair prices for farmers while giving buyers a consistent supply of high‑quality Indonesian vanilla through transparent, reliable value chains. By piloting fair‑trade sales in local markets like Bali and developing export channels for international buyers, this approach creates long‑term security for producers and lasting confidence for the markets they serve.
