Our Focus
The whole of our work rests on four grounds. They are not separate programs. They are four ways of looking at the same landscape.

Biodiversity
Conserve and restore biological diversity across working landscapes, from the microbes in the soil to the canopy overhead, and treat farmland as habitat rather than the opposite of it

Agroforestry
Grow food and income under tree cover, so land stays productive, soil stays covered, and no family depends on a single harvest

Rural Development
Raise smallholder incomes and keep value in the village, so a young person can build a life on the land they were born to

Customary Community
Work through the customary institutions that already hold the land, and recognize customary knowledge, tenure, and consent as the ground rules of every program
