Mission

Indonesia’s fertile land is home to hard-working farmers, yet many still face economic challenges worsened by climate change and market instability. Bhumitara is here to empower smallholder farmers so they can thrive with fair opportunities and sustainable livelihoods. We help strengthen local cooperatives, open access to transparent markets, and ensure farmers receive fair rewards for their efforts. By involving youth and women in agriculture—especially in processing and value-added products—we create meaningful jobs and vibrant rural economies. On top of that, we champion climate-smart farming so agriculture delivers healthy food today, while protecting soil and nature for future generations.
